A Hall of Famer despite zero wins in four career mound decisions, Cooperstown and Chavez Ravine icon Tommy Lasorda warranted enshrinement, of course, with managerial prowess as the face of the Los Angeles Dodgers. This autographed Dodgers home jersey was worn by the affable skipper as he led his charges to a first-place showing in the strike-abbreviated 1994 campaign. The white knit button-down garment features “Dodgers” angled across the chest in blue tackle twill and his since-retired number “2” sewn to the left front in solid red twill. On the back, “2” is sewn in blue-on-white double twill and “LASORDA” is arched just above in like fashion. Near the right shoulder, Lasorda’s blue Sharpie autograph (“7” strength) is accompanied by his inscription of “6/2/95.” Within the left front tail, a “Rawlings” label is accompanied by a size “44” tag and a “SET 1 1994” tag. Light wear.
